No, not to hire someone to sit on the couch like Homer Simpson and watch TV, but a professional handyman. Got the flyer in my mailbox, I wonder if they looked at all the chores to be done outside. Like painting the fence. But maybe that's a project to be shared with friends.
And of course, for the inside chores, there's always dial-a-wife, unfortunately for me based in Australia. They do have rather strong ideas of a woman's place down under (oops) as we all saw in the town of Porpoise Spit. OK, they're not all like that, some do manage to break out of the mold and show some individuality.

Garry - I followed the link - looks like a good service that Suffolk County provides, listing warnings about unlicensed businesses.
I could call Consumer Affairs as suggested about the three joint owners of all those separate appliances businesses, looks like a real scam. But as it's a NY location, I'm not sure our Consumer Affairs here in Ottawa, Canada would have any info for me.
If you could just add the info and clarify the link to dial-a-husband it would be a big help. Thanks in advance - Mike

Beware of Dial-a-Husband from Ottawa Canada, he is not disclosing his past business practices and does not pay his bills, currently there are law suite’s for unpaid wages, unpaid lease of rented office and is heavy handed when dealing with franchisees. I have heard the owner of Dial-a-husband owned a company called JTG Construction in Pennsylvania which has been suited, he lost the case and left town, all these things have not been disclosed to new potential franchises. Everything can be verified

Dial-A-Husband Owner is a theif, and has stollen large sum of money from his staff and did not make pay roll deduction, or issue T4,s or seperation slips I hope the Feds screw you and your hole family as bad as you did to others and there families

I now see that the company president and family have hit toronto and has started the same games there that drove them out of ottawa check out www.rip-offreport.com
