Raven's View

I did manage to get my latest pics up on Flickr from the House of PainT, as well as the last World Beats and Eats fundraiser. Their next event is to raise money for Pride Ottawa-Gatineau - July 7th at the SAW Gallery. Tasty (free) food, great beats, a special show by HUMP, and art from La Petite Mort gallery. Should be an awesome show - as usual.

Coming up is the Fringe Festival parade tonight at Art's Court on Daly, and Freshest Steps, by CrazySmooth, with breakers from UK, Montreal, Toronto, NY, and California, as well as lots of great local talent.  Also will be graffiti, live hair stylin, and, of course, giveaways. It's this Saturday, June 17th, 12-8 at Notre-Dame de l'Ile, 115 Sacre Couer in Hull.

Last weekend was bonding with my daughter as I drove to Toronto - we played each other's CD's. I like her Common (produced by Kenye West), she liked my Blackalicious. Was a weekend of family and friends - met up with my friend Jen, stayed at my sister's, visited mother, family dinner at my brother's. Caught some young breakers down at City hall, as well as a lot of graffiti between Keele and Dundas W stations on the Bloor line. Some new, some there for quite a while. Working on editing and uploading now - before I fill the memory card up again.
