Festival-X
Ottawa - May 3 Graffiti report to Council

Daser show

Come on out to the show this Saturday, March 17, at La Petite Mort Gallery, 306 Cumberland, here in Ottawa. Here's the info from the gallery:

Fun Paintings, Interesting Music, Intense Discussion
One of Canada's Pioneer street artists
With a history of over 20 years and still climbing.

"Reaction": It started out as an innocent jesture, an alternative to a stagnant reality, but like osmosis it exspanded, even beyond it's own Death. Knowing it was doomed to repeat it's self, each time more satirical in it's nature. It allowed it's self a loop whole, a mathematical percentage of those who would React. DASER, 2006

He'll have his art and some pics there, I'm bringing some photos I have of his work - always is a great time at Guy's.

Brad Huffman

Hi, my name is Brad Huffman and I am very interested in graff and the culture that surrounds it. First and foremost, I would just like to say that I am happy there are people out there that do more than just appreciate it by taking a quick glance as it is an art form that has been opressed for too long. Anyway, the reason I am writing to you on here is because I can't find your e-mail.

I am involved with an Urban Arts Festival that will be going on in Hintonburg on Mother's Day Weekend 2007. It is being put on by Artspark. All types of artists from all over the city will be coming to display some of their work, but in addition to that, myself and people from the PARKDALE GALLERY are trying to organize a live graffiti jam. There will be about 6-8 large, primed boards ready to paint. We are currently looking for artists and I figured since you have such a large interest in this culture that you might know a couple of people that I could contact. Anyway, my e-mail is [email protected]. If you could contact me with any information that'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and your contribution and dedication to this amazing art form. Cheers - Brad Huffman
