Barry's beer on Bank

It's the turn of Bank in the Glebe to get torn up - replacing 100 yr old pipes so a major job. But supposedly businesses all still open, the main issue being parking now.
Barry is hosting another of his patio parties at the MVP Lounge on Bank tonight (June 1). The pub is small but the patio large, nice place to sit and relax and meet old and new friends. And hopefully escape before that hockey stuff starts! Details below.
"MingleWorks" and The MVP Lounge are kicking off the summer (with some nice weather coming up....finally) this coming Wednesday, June 1st with a big indoor and outdoor deck party! Whether you have been before or this would be your first time, come on over after work or early evening for a great time! We'll have a BBQ going with "tube steaks" for just a loonie, drink and other food specials, Moosehead will be there with their reps offering free tastings and give-aways! In honour of the Bank St. construction, a $50.00 MVP gift certificate and a $50.00 discount certificate (non-transferable) off this fall's 10th anniversary "Niagara Wine Tasting Party Tour" will be given away in a draw. How to enter ....wear city construction colours (yellow and orange) or anything that a construction worker would wear.
On that note, re: parking, it will not be a problem. All the cross streets are available to you. Paul, the MVP owner, was told that people could also park on Bank after the workers have departed.
Stanley Cup: If you are into the game, why not watch some of it at the party on their big screens?!
So, don't miss all the fun and great "mingling" on Wednesday. Oh, and this is certainly the month to invite along a friend or two! Lots of new faces are a good thing and the more the merrier!
