ROW80-2 -05/26 -Mega Gardening

My girlfriend arrived last Tuesday night, with a bag of perennials from her yard. These are to add to the ones she has planted over the past few years in my yard. And we bought another half dozen at the garden centre, plus a Clematis vine and a Lilac bush. Dirt and sheep manure too. Most is in now, so it looks great out there. I have been doing some writerly things too, in my spare time. And winter looks to be done, spring is definitely here, and sometimes there is a hint of summer. As in shorts days.
Objectives (writerly and other):
- Write - Because I do enjoy it.
- Write new material - one draft Flash Fiction a week. Story done and posted here. Posted on some Facebook groups, with good feedback. It was written to talk about the long weekend, the May 24th one. It's called Two on the Two-four.
- Edit existing material - to send in for publication - None.
- Write better - Read about how to write, and get constructive feedback.
- My main source of writing info is a series of writerly blogs. Objective -stay current. Oops - a week behind. Need to catch up via Feedly, next time I'm in the pub.
- Objective - set a FF challenge a week. Prompt is set, this week uses a random character generator to start off.
- MasterClass on Storytelling, by Neil Gaiman. Did #16, Dealing With Wrter's Block, #17, Editing, and #18, Rules for Writers.
- Publish/market - We publish partially for the glory and bags of money, but also for the feedback and increased marketability.
- I have many FF written already, here.
- Amazon Marketing Services Campaigns on KDP -Some sales, but not a big profit on this yet. But I continue to tweak once a week, trying stuff.
- New technique - give away print copies of Flash Fiction Stories. Gave away four more stories.
- Read with purpose
- Objective - read and review a book a week. Finished Smoke and Mirrors, by Gaiman. Well-written stories, with notes included.
- Better health
- It's spring now. Fitbit target Objective - 7 day average 3500. 4200, doing good.
- Set sleep target to 7.5 hours, starting at midnight. Objective - 5 times a week. 7/7. Some 8.5h. Early to sleep with gfriend here.
- Stay social - That's a given, what with walking about, visits to local cafes and bars, and all my grandkids being in Ottawa. Cafes and bars, check. Socializing with my gfriend to my locals. Even out for dinner. No kids visits.
- Have fun - Gaming, Netflix - both indoors. Outdoors?
- Netflix - less.
- Gaming - less.
- Vacation -no plans yet.
- Chores - I added this to capture bigger jobs. Gardening. Bench still TBD.
