First day done - not a lot of progress, but I'm now here on the map. I went up the avenue, and found it wide enough that there are streets along the side for the cafes and shops.
Such as a row of scooter and bike stores, including Harley Davidson and Indian.
Up to the end, left around a roundabout that used to have trees - and cars. Now there will be a huge subway station in the middle. A nice little triangular park called Square(?)Alexandre et Rene Parodi - allegedly. More construction. Nice inside though, greenery and some monuments. Such as Le Vent des Batailles. It pays homage to General Koenig, who joined Free France in 1940 and fought on several fronts, notably in North Africa. Then, he was appointed general-in-chief of the FFI in 1944 and honoured by a citation from General de Gaulle.
South then on Bd. Peripherique, which is mostly in series of underpasses - nice, but not scenic. 
Finally we hit some greenery, along Rte de la Prte des Sablons à la Prte Maillot. Beside a park of the same name.
And then ended up here, along a quieter part of the street. That's it for the day.
